Actually, David Moore and his Council passed multiple “Councilmatic Bonds” – amounting to nearly $8 Million in debt. Taxpayers were burdened with 20 years of loan payments. Finally, this Monopoly experiment was paid off in 2024. Residents were saddled additionally with having to pay the Rumpke trash fees! Supposedly, this was to provide money to Greenhills to pay off the debt. Now debt is paid off, but residents continue to pay Rumpke bill via their Cincinnati Water Works bills.
